"That idea of kiosks .." is a reflection on neglected areas of our center, on poorly exploited and abandoned kiosks. Hence the desire to slowly bring to light these areas, to put particular attention on the general state of disrepair of the center and its characteristics. The Art, universal language and in this case the contemporary, at this point seems to be the best way to focus on the problem and to manifest. The project, curated by Dr. Martina Selva with the collaboration of the Social and Cultural Activities, takes shape and is inserted in the broader context of the Festival already with the pilot edition of the 2008.
For SMIAF 2009 artists have revisited and other places with their languages and their very different styles have therefore given rise to a unique traveling exhibition that has developed over the two days of the Festival.
One of the Cloister of Santa Chiara all, where they found space in addition to the festival events including exhibitions, installations and real, making the best the beautiful setting of the monastery. Other places have been revised by the artists of the Turret Gate Country, the terrace in front of tanks in the Government Building on Eugippo, one of the beds in the lower terrace of the Gardens of Liburnians. The best artists have interpreted the concept of the project, or create works that could fit into the urban context, adapting them to the place, and not the other.

"That idea of kiosks .." sites are indicated on the plan of the program 2009 with the letter Q.
